Focused ultrasound (FUS)–mediated blood–brain barrier (BBB) opening has emerged as a promising non-invasive strategy for enhancing drug delivery to the brain. However, achieving efficient and safe focal sonication through the skull requires precise transducer design. This study aims to develop a sparse array transducer optimized for acoustic energy delivery and spatial precision in BBB opening applications.
